PERSONALITY

Cold. Distant. Superior. Unfortunately also a scholar through and through and can't help being curious. Can get distracted by topics that interest him.

APPEARANCE

So spindly he looks like he might break his arms were he to lift anything heavier than a book. Fortunately he's telekinetic so he doesn't have to! His skin is a vibrant purple color, and he'd feel like slightly wet leather if touched. He exclusively wears black floor-length robes that are a rubbery sort of leathery material to keep himself nice and hydrated. He also has a cowl with a deep hood to protect himself from the sun. The four tentacles gracing his face are frequently moving, twisting around each other as he contemplates things. His mouth isn't visible, nestled behind the tentacles, but it's similar to a lamprey with rows and rows of circular teeth.

WIZARD SPELLS

He's a 14th level Wizard. FULL SPELL LIST HERE. Note that he does not need material components for anything because Illithids are op.

MIND BLAST

Psychic attack against a single target. This would feel like getting punched with an instant, incredibly painful migraine and stuns them for a short while.

PROTECTIVE DOME

A purple translucent dome he can form around himself for protection. Lasts as long as he concentrates on it or it's destroyed. (Can be battered down with weapons or magic)

CLAIRVOYANCE

Can reach out telepathically to observe everything around him. Basically he can telepathically freecam in a fifty foot circle out from him.

AOE PSYCHIC BLAST

Mind Blast for groups! Less powerful version that hits everyone around him at once with psychic damage. Would feel like an abrupt headache.

HISTORY

Imbros was on a reconnaissance mission on his own when the Elder Brain of his colony was killed. He's still perplexed that no one saw the threat coming, one moment everything was fine and then Imbros was fully aware of what was happening via the hivemind. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it would turn out) he was too far away to do anything about it, and the Elder Brain was eventually killed. When that happened all the Mind Flayers, Thralls, Intellect Devourers and anything else under the Elder Brain's control was killed. Except Imbros who was far enough out of reach that he was instead horribly injured and psychically damaged. With that connection, and control, severed, he woke up with all the memories of the hivemind as normal - but with an extra set he didn't want or ask for: the memories of the body that was used as his host. A male Drow wizard, that he was disturbed to find out was also named Imbros. As more time passes the memories of the hivemind are diminishing and the ones of things he actually experienced grow stronger. He also now has a few of the Drow's wizard spells, which he hates as he considers arcane magic an abomination.
